ABOUT the Author

Mia Jarvis is a fantasy author with a passion for writing flawed characters, paranormal romances, and high-stakes stories. Her work explores beliefs, religious trauma, power imbalances, and how love changes us. A recent graduate, she holds a degree in business administration and lives in Ohio with her husband. When she isn’t working on her next creative project, she can be found with her family, in the gym, or traveling.

Before she became an author, Mia was raised in an evangelical family, where discussions about “the end times” were frequent. The high-control and manipulative environment led to a deep distrust of her needs, wants, and reasoning. People preyed on her confusion and repression until it forced her away from religion. She searched for some way to protect herself, unsure of what it might be, and it took years to find the answer: critical thinking. Now, she writes stories in hopes that others can begin to learn logical reasoning and critical thinking through her work.
